Description John Shaw 2004-01-21 05:51:57 UTC
Gaim-0.72-r1 opens with all the groups from my blist.xml file but none of the actual buddies. I upgraded to 0.75-r5 and the probably went away. 0.72-r1 didn't mangle my blist.xml file but it just refused to display any buddies even when in view off-line buddies mode.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start up gaim
2. Log in
3.

Actual Results:
Buddly list window with all groups opens but no visible buddies. This happens
even when it is set not to show empty groups and even if it is suppose to show
off-line buddies.

Expected Results:
Open the buddy list with on-line members.

We aren't planning on supporting old versions of gaim. For all we know the problem is probably upstream and the answer there will be to upgrade to 0.75 anyway.

I plan to mark 0.75-r5 stable on x86 soon. I highly recommend staying on 0.75-r5.
