Description 颜烈彬 2011-10-10 14:55:12 UTC
It should use a x86 gnatboot to bootstrap for x86-abi

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable portage-multilib and multilib_abi_x86 in USE flag
2. emerge -1v gnat-gcc
3.
Actual Results:

Expected Results:
configure fine.

Well, what do you know, the new ABI is barely in and people are already trying to build gnat with it..

I doubt it is that simple. It may indeed need to use that setup, but there will be more changes - as there are certain differences from x86 arch. At the very least some headers will need to be updated. I would need to se exactly how gcc deals with it, check whether upstream (gnat) provides special definitions, etc..

As for now, the new abi is not supported for gnat. Although I'll keep this open, in case I get to it any time soon.
