Description Francesco Lamonica 2011-10-07 13:36:48 UTC
Open the thunderbird addressbook, create a new list, add some contacts and close it. Now edit the list again, and add some more email addresses, when you close the dialog window with the list of email addresses then the address book panel shows some of the entries of the list (not necessarily the newly added - seems that the list is not updated correctly) duplicated. Selecting another list/contact from the left panel and going back on the list makes the glitch disappear

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.add entries to thunderbird addressbook list
Actual Results:
the panel containing the contacts shows some that are duplicated

Expected Results:
the contact list should show the correct entries

Comment 1 Jory A. Pratt gentoo-dev 2011-10-10 03:18:45 UTC
Tb-7 is scheduled for stabilization, if you can still reproduce with it please report.
Comment 2 Francesco Lamonica 2011-11-02 14:44:29 UTC
Indeed, this still happens with tb7
Comment 3 Nirbheek Chauhan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-01-28 04:54:51 UTC
Does this still happen with 9.0?
Comment 4 Francesco Lamonica 2012-02-21 12:15:17 UTC
This is still valid with 10.0.1

> This is still valid with 10.0.1

Are you still able to duplicate this with 17.0?
Comment 6 Jory A. Pratt gentoo-dev 2013-08-26 14:33:12 UTC
Reopen if you can duplicate the issue using a clean profile and tb-17.0.8
