vesa option in xorg.conf is crash X-server

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot from Gentoo 11.2 LiveDVD
2. Boot froom ant LiveDVD (Ubuntu 11.04, Ubuntu 7.04, Knoppix)
3. Get xorg error mesage
Actual Results:  
X-server report:
(EE) No devices detected

Expected Results:  
no extended results

i dont know why get futher details, while SysRq not working.
The PC is hangs.
Genereal detail - is "(EE) No devices detected" from xorg system. And crash with disable SysRq functions.
