Description Allan Gottlieb 2011-08-22 22:00:47 UTC
My update world fails with the above error followed by

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-libs/glib-2.16.3[introspection]" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-libs/glib-9999::gnome (masked by: missing keyword)

(dependency required by "gnome-extra/gucharmap-3.0.1-r300" [installed])
(dependency required by "app-office/abiword-2.8.6-r1[gnome]" [installed])
(dependency required by "@selected" [set])
(dependency required by "@world" [argument])

I temporarily added glib to package.unmask. The same error occurred just without the line

"One of the following masked packages ..."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install gnome overlay
2. Update world
3.
Actual Results:
Above error

Expected Results:
Packages updated

I had a similar error with net-im/telepathy-logger, which
was fixed when a new ebuild appeared
