Created attachment 283779 [details] ebuild for 1.0.1 Please add Shadowgrounds to the portage. I decided not to add shadowgrounds-data in dependency list of shadowgrounds because there are other possible ways of game-data installation. I own only humble indie bundle packages and can't write ebuild for cd-rom-based install. I presume that cd-rom has the same directory structure and user may either copy data files manually, either provide path via command line argument when launching the game. All ebuilds, metadata and manifests can be found here (should I add them as attachments?): http://github.com/vayerx/vayerx-gentoo/tree/master/games-action/shadowgrounds http://github.com/vayerx/vayerx-gentoo/tree/master/games-action/shadowgrounds-data http://github.com/vayerx/vayerx-gentoo/blob/master/licenses/shadowgrounds

Vasiliy, First - thanks for these ebuilds. Have been thinking of working up something for this as myself, but just saw you already took care of it. Much apprecitaed. Second - I just tried playing Shadowgrounds using your 1.0.3 ebuild. Both it and the data package install fine, but when I play the game it doesn't capture the mouse properly. My X11 mouse cursor is overlayed on top of the in-game cursor on the menu screen, and it appears in addition to the target reticle in-game. The main problem is that this is not just a cosmetic issue - when the X11 cursor reaches the edge of the screen, the character stops turning. So, I can only turn around roughly 75% in any direction before the character stops turning, making the game impossible to play. Any ideas what might be causing this? I didn't have this problem with the -bin package.
Also, FYI, the opening videos for Frozenbyte and Alternative Games don't play for your ebuild. Not sure if that's intentional or a bug, but I thought I'd mention it just in case it's the latter.
OK, last comment: the background scenery (where the guy's working in a shop or something) isn't played on the title screen in the source version. I find that a bit more significant than the missing opening movies - it adds a bit to the atmosphere of the game. Anyway, sorry for the multiple comments - didn't notice this issues before my first post, but thought they were worth bringing up.
