"layman -l" display not all overlays
but "layman -S" syncing they all

You are missing one important file I asked you for:

/usr/local/layman/overlays.xml

I need that to figure out what is wrong and to test your setup on my machine.

Thank you megabaks.  It turned out the bug showed up because you had set nocheck  :no in your layman.cfg.  It defaults to yes.

It was the printing function that was not listing it due to that option.  For LocalList printing the complain parameter should have been passed True rather than the config option.

fixed in commit b2ee5463687471c42b87831f77de3322ec83e1f9

let's hope you don't find more bugs ;)
