Independently from bug #375967, isn't too fast stabilization? =sys-power/cpufrequtils-008-r1 is in tree since one day only.

Perhaps, but I don't really think so. The 008-r1 ebuild is simply the old -008 with 3 patches for fixes that are already upstream [1]. Upstream development seems to have slowed, so I didn't see any reason to wait indefinitely to get the fixes.

I closed -008's outstanding (simple) bugs yesterday, and it's been in the tree since 05 Jul 2010, more than a year.
