3 arch tester sayd the same error. I think there is a problem on this package.

Three independent testers report breakage.
AMD64 will not stable this package. Dropping from CC.

Is the formerly stable games-board/xboard-4.4.4 also suddenly broken on amd64 as its support was also dropped in this bug? It works for me since last October... If it is actually broken, then where is the bug tracking the breakage? If it isn't, then it should be rekeyworded.

When arch teams refuse to stablize I always drop the keywords.  I'm not going to keep old ebuilds around.  For local use, feel free to add entries to package.keywords as described in the portage man page.

Doesn't it mean it just lacks proper deps for according font?

As stabilization bugs should be specific and minimalistic I've opened bug 384521 for the amd64 issue.
