A Thunderbird 5.0 has been released.

thunderbird-bin-5.0_beta2.ebuild

Significant changes from 3.1.*:
1. Install x86_64 version on amd64 systems rather than relying on x86 emulation
2. Create 'plugins' symlink so RSS feeds can utilize installed plugins such as adobe-flash

Thunderbird-5.0 has not been released, these are just beta's when final is released we will make the needed bumps.

Source build is in the tree, another member of the herd will handle the -bin package.
