The problem seems the execution of ./fusebirth > fused_loop.c. See Additional Information for the output of fusebirth.

Reproducible: Always

freebirth-0.3.2 # pwd
freebirth-0.3.2 # ./fusebirth
Couldn't open sample: /usr/share/freebirth/raw/kick.raw
Couldn't open sample: /usr/share/freebirth/raw/snare.raw
Couldn't open sample: /usr/share/freebirth/raw/cl_hat.raw
Couldn't open sample: /usr/share/freebirth/raw/op_hat.raw
Couldn't open sample: /usr/share/freebirth/raw/samp_1.raw
Segmentation fault

Package seems unmaintained. HOMEPAGE is 404.

Please tree clean the package.

I'm able to emerge freebirth on ~amd64 without any problems.
Also, the websites and are reachable for me.

Indeed, it looks like it was fixed at some time, unmasked
