The problem seems the execution of ./fusebirth > fused_loop.c. See Additional Information for the output of fusebirth.

Package seems unmaintained. HOMEPAGE is 404.

Please tree clean the package.

I'm able to emerge freebirth on ~amd64 without any problems.
Also, the websites freebirth.sourceforge.net and sourceforge.net/projects/freebirth are reachable for me.
