Looks like the only documentation <=media-libs/fontconfig-2.8.0-r1 installs by default (i.e., without the "doc" flag) is about fonts-conf. Nothing about fc-cache, fc-cat, fc-list, fc-match, fc-query, or fc-scan. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. fc-[TAB][TAB] on command line, and note all the nice utilities 2. whatis <any of them> 3. man <any of them> Actual Results: No information on what these utilities do. Expected Results: The usual kind of info given by whatis and man. (Note that "man fonts-conf" lists the other utilities in SEE ALSO, which makes it especially annoying not to have man pages for them, too.) Basic usage info is available using the "-h" command-line option with each utility, but not enough context for people like me to figure out how/why to use these things. I don't want to enable the "doc" USE flag, since it depends on "app-text/docbook-sgml-utils[jadetex]" (wants to install 13 new packages). Hmm... the more I look into this, the more it looks like this might be an upstream problem. Can someone say what docs are actually installed with the "doc" flag, and do they include useful man pages for fc-* (like http://www.x.org/releases/X11R7.0/doc/html/fc-list.1.html), or useless ones (like http://www.xfree86.org/current/fc-list.1.html), or none at all?
