There is ebuild for https://code.google.com/p/mrim-prpl/ in rion overlay, did you try using it? How this two plugins differ?
P.S. Ebuild is completely wrong and broken, use pidgin plugins as example, not media players, also check with 'repoman -pxv full'

I dont know
there is two different git
EGIT_REPO_URI="http://github.com/dreadatour/pidgin-mra"
and
ESVN_REPO_URI="http://mrim-prpl.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/"

Let's try)))

Please don't use trunk of the mrim-prpl because:
1) it is for developers only, users shouldn't use it!
2) it soon will be moved from simple Makefile to Cmake/autotools.

If you want you can use tarballs or branch-0.1.x in svn.
