wanted to have a solarized[1] xterm running with xfce. got a completely black terminal screen instead with "Color name x is not defined" warnings.

until i removed -nocpp from xfce's distribution init script.

why is that parameter used there? i'm witnessing no ill effects when removing it.

No response from reporter in 2 months, closing CANTFIX since we won't alter upstream defaults.
