After system upgrade make symlink in this way ln -s ./net.lo ./net.eth0 and restart net.eth0. Openrc will go crasy. Also corelates with a bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350910

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Upgrade your system (baselayout/openrc)
2.make symlink in this way ln -s ./net.lo ./net.eth0
3./etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart
Actual Results:  
network init scripts do not run correctly


previos init system handled such symlinks correctly
