I just upgraded my toolchain to gcc-4.6.0. I know it is unsupported yet. But all went strait, but web-client/chromium doesn't compile. After applying gcc46 patch from overlay gcc-porting, I saw chromium failing at some "thirdparty" voice chat. I didn't find a way to turn that off. Therefore my wish: Some additional USE flags for chromium to turn off these thirdparty utilities. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: USE= -googlechat and chromium will compile using gcc-4.6.0
It would be helpful if you could provide the exact error message and be more specific with the file names. I don't see a googlechat directory under third_party, at least not in the chromium trunk.
I'd prefer to limit the number of USE flags for maintainability. There is a general bug about porting chromium to gcc-4.6, I'll mark this as duplicate of it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 361461 ***
