This ebuild seems to have the critical bug 28665 (open since 3 months).

exim-4.30.ebuild

Patched version which only installs that particular symbolic link if /bin/mail
and /usr/bin/mail do not exist.

Hello

Why ist this ebuild still not in portage?

Three problems I see in the attachment in Comment #4...

* `/usr/bin/mail' might belong to nail or an already installed
version of exim at the time exim emerges.
* `src_install()' should not act differently depending on anything on
the live filesystem, otherwise it'll break binary packages
(`/bin/mail' may not exist on the system a binary package was built
on, but may exist on the system it is unpacked).
* said symlink really should not exist at all.

handing these over to Jay

OK. I added 4.30 to portage. Should be on the mirrors in 1-2 hours.

Enjoy... and test.
