gst-plugins-vp8 is required to play HTML5 video (at least on Youtube) with webkit-using browsers.
(If you are not maintaining this, please drop you from metadata, thanks)
gst-plugins-vp8 doesn't have enough keywords (only amd64 and x86) currently. It will need to either be keyworded or use-masked (I'm going to use the webm USE flag) before it can be included.
What name should we use for that USE flag? You suggest "webm", but "vpx" is also widely used in the tree (and both are local USE flags...)

vpx is for libvpx, google's vp8 implementation webm is the container format. So I would call this use flag vpx, because it enables the gst-plugins-vp8, which is just a wrapper around libvpx, not gst-plugins-good (?) which contains the webm muxer and demuxer.
