This is a typical name for package from different sources. Can't we go for eanalysise or similar. I know at least three sci package which wil collide.
Actually that's really a temporary name anyways while we try to come up with a Gentoo name. We'll figure something out and get a new release out. Meanwhile, we are still open to suggestions.
What about the good old e-variant? eanalyse ?
What I find a bit strange is it has been out there for a year or so already and only now was the potential confilct brought up. But meh. well, we didn't decide on a name back then so stuck with analyse, but we did come up with a few back then. esylana, ezylana reverse spelling of analyse, analyze enalyze, I think I like best so far.
you are right, they use the american spelling /usr/bin/analyze But there will be a clash in future for sure. I like the enalyze.
