Description Sergey S. Starikoff 2011-03-15 11:33:26 UTC
Pretty and very fast log analyser (oryginally developed for squid, current version also knows Postfix).
Similiar first of all to net-analyzer/sarg.

Reproducible: Always

I'm not familiar with LINGUAS support ebuild writing, my version of ebuilds suppose usage only of the Russian locale.

Oryginally supported locales are:
be.cp1251
cs.iso88592
de.iso88591
en.iso88591
es.iso88591
et.iso88591
fr.iso88591
it.iso88591
ru.koi8r
sk.iso88592

Also: dependency list contains apache and syslog-ng, but should contain any web-server and optionally logger (squid could write logs directly, i.e. w/o logger and logger could receive messages from remote system).
How to describe it into ebuild I don't hnow.

Some other moments:

1.6.2 is the last version in current stable branch 1.x (the developing one is 2.x).

I've tested ebuild on my Gentoo Linux workstation (where I have no squid installed). Looking mostly on webalizer ebuild as an example.

For those, who will use free-sa on Gentoo Linux server should be useful:
Fix paths of default report dir (and uncomment this directive by default) in the free-sa.conf.sample.
And the same action for the default squid log path.
Perhaps, if target file don't exist, copy /etc/free-sa/free-sa.conf.sample into /etc/free-sa/free-sa.conf

The theme selection works via symlink management.
So, perhaps it will be useful to write some bash-script for free-sa theme management (my ebuild sets default theme for default (in Gentoo) OutputDir).
