As we want to drop it because it's deprecated and unmaintained for ages, we would like to know if this optional support (behind 'gnome' USE flag) can be dropped or, if not, we would like to get upstream notified about this. Thanks a lot Reproducible: Always
I have actually no idea, I have never tried the gnome option. Could anyone from the gnome team try it?
I don't use gretl :-(, but looking at debian and searching in configure.in and gretl sources, looks like libgnomeprint dependency is not really needed Looking at old entries from debian changelog: http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/g/gretl/gretl_1.9.4-3/changelog Looks like libgnomeprint was a buildtime dependency some time ago... then, if gretl is now able to build ok without it, I would try to drop that DEPEND, as latest versions doesn't seem to need it (at least in debian)
lignomeprint* dependencies removed. thanks!
