Looks like search box now searches also in descriptions and comments, not only summaries. This causes me to have to review a lot of unwanted bugs from returned list and also makes search process slower. I think there is no much sense on looking to descriptions in out bugzilla since bugs have already proper summaries starting with CATEGORY/PACKAGE Thanks Reproducible: Always
If you are talking about the search boxes in the header and footer of all pages, yes, it includes comments by default. To limit the search to the summary only, simply prepend your words with "summary:", e.g. summary:slower.
Yes, I am referring to them
https://bugs.gentoo.org/page.cgi?id=quicksearch.html I think we should keep it as it is.
i dont mind keeping the main search on the home page as the quicksearch, but i'd suspect the search in the top/bottom is more of a developer tool for quick navigation. i dont suppose it's possible to have that search be different from the main one ? or even better, let people configure it in their user preferences. the lack of summary-only behavior threw a wrench into my workflow for sure ...
I just changed the default to summary and alias.
