Description aditsu 2011-02-27 04:28:46 UTC
I've just upgraded to kde 4.6.0, and then did a revdep-rebuild; everything compiled, except digikam and kipi-plugins, which fail with almost the same error messages:

error: ‘class KDcrawIface::DcrawSettingsWidget’ has no member named ‘setDefaultSettings’
error: ‘class KDcrawIface::DcrawSettingsWidget’ has no member named ‘setSixteenBits’

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Comment 3 Andreas K. Hüttel gentoo-dev 2011-02-27 09:49:17 UTC
Yes, unfortunately the interface changed. We dont have a fix for that...

All digikam versions newer than 1.2.x need ("unstable") kde-4.6; that is the only reason why no newer digikam is marked stable.

Please update digikam and kipi-plugins to version 1.8.0 each. I've been using it for a while and it works fine.

We'll put this in the upgrade guide.
Comment 4 aditsu 2011-02-27 10:15:07 UTC
At lest you can make digikam and kipi-plugins 1.2.0 require <libkdcraw-4.6, and add the newer versions to the keywords file for kde 4.6

Already done... just needed to get some breakfast first. :)

Oh, thanks, I thought cantfix = can't do anything about it.
I see you've already included ~sci-libs/clapack-3.2.1 too.
