Description onip 2011-02-16 10:53:16 UTC
Upstream states that hal support is optional (see url) and I've successfully built and used it without hal installed on my system.

Please change hard depend with an optional one controlled by the global use flag hal, so that users could get rid of hal on their systems.

Thanks

Reproducible: Always

bug-wranglers edited my summary. obviously my request is not to remove a _working_ package from the tree, just conditionally depend on hal or remove the dependency at all.

gnomad is no longer required since libgphoto2 supports MTP devices, and then, gvfs supports libgphoto2. and older devices with still needing NJB needs to update firmware.

so if the hal dependency can't be removed... the package will.
