From the Web:"Scribus is a Layout program for Linux®, similar to Adobe®
PageMaker, QuarkXPress or Adobe® InDesign, except that it is published under
the GNU GPL."

It works under QT, although it can be integrated with KDE environment ( for
drag and drop ).

I should put in near GIMP and Sodipodi, ( media-gfx/scribus )

The package is tested in my computer

-----
I have set some dependencies by searching with qpkg -f and ldd.
The scribus doc is installed in /usr/share/scribus/doc, and I have
make a symbolic link to /usr/share/doc/${PF}/html.

I have installed too the desktop file to the KDE applnk directory under
the Graphics directory ( to have an entry in the Graphics submenu with its
icon ).
An icon is copied to the /usr/share/pixmaps.

It works perfecly ( I have been playing with it )

Slt! Thx :]

Comment 8 José Alberto Suárez López 2002-06-11 13:03:47 UTC
the bug #2407 has been marked as duplicate so the really duplicate bug is
this. The reason of keep this new bug is for the work and tests, and the new
ebuild is better than the old.
But thanks to Matthew J. Turk <m-turk@nwu.edu> for the fors bug :)

Hi Jose.

Here is another one: #2807.
This one was submitted in between the other two as I can see. I picked it up
roughly a week ago and was about to process it. I see you are almost done with
this one, so I guess I'll just let you know about another version submitted :).

Comment 10 Francisco Gimeno 2002-06-11 13:23:13 UTC
 The three versions are different!!!

First one: 0.7.1 in bug #2407
Second one: 0.7.2 in bug #2807
Third one: 0.7.4 in this bug #3548

Ummm... It seems that this package don't want to be gentooized!
Slt!
