Description George Cox 2011-01-26 18:40:54 UTC
Just successfully compiled this package on my laptop, and installed successfully.

When I went to start the program manually I recieved this on stderr:

Is Hal running? Failed with error: HALD_NOT_RUNNING
Will try again to connect to HAL in 30 seconds.

I removed HAL to un-complicate my system with xorg 1.9 and don't want to add it back without a dependency to a package I use.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -av guidance-power-manager
2.restart KDE session
3.

Unfortunately upstream seems to have no exit strategy, which makes guidance-power-manager a candidate for lastriting.

Masked for removal in 30 days.
