i upgraded from libX11-1.3.4 to 1.4.0 and recognized more problems:
1. pg-up/down stop work with gnu gv (strange that other apps work just fine).
2. left click on e16 desktop manager no more triggers defined action (bound to launching PieDock).

I don't think any of these things are related to libX11, since libX11 doesn't handle input.
