The pcre use flag is no longer present in now stable php-5.3.3-r1. Therefore, portage reports:

dev-lang/php:5
  (dev-lang/php-5.3.3-r1, ebuild scheduled for merge) conflicts with
    dev-lang/php[pcre,pdo,postgres,xml] required by (dev-php/awl-0.43, installed)

Thanks for removing the pcre use flag from the awl ebuild.

The fix hasn't yet hit the portage mirrors it seems. Is this a normal delay?

Hi, this is a version from sunrise overlay. In this case the delay is normal.
