Description Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-10-18 15:15:42 UTC
In the "Help" menu select "About". Then "Show license".

Probably the license file should just go to some special hardwired location?

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
displays GPL

Sorry to disappoint you but this solution is invalid and also a QA violation. You must not symlink anything from PORTDIR since this is location specific to the current state of build system. The symlink will be incorrect when a binary package is installed on another system or when you will simply move it. Not to mention the potential possibility of removing/renaming the license in the future.
