Description Erik Frøseth 2010-10-13 19:23:58 UTC
When connecting a screen to the HDMI-output of my ATI Mobility Radeon and trying to select that screen from grandr, it produces a segmentation fault. See the attached file for terminal output.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect a screen to the HDMI-output
2. Open up grandr-0.1
3. Try to select a different screen than the default

Actual Results:
Program crashes, prints out "segmentation fault"

Expected Results:
Shown up the selected screen, and not crashed.

After searching on the internet, I found a patch to fix the problem. I've tested it and it takes care of the problem. The patch is attached, as well as a working ebuild wich patches the source.

Are you really used to that package? It's unmaintained for years, and we were considering removing it.
