Description Matthias Dahl 2010-10-01 04:51:09 UTC
Adobe released the second square preview (version 10.2.161.23) on Sep 27th.

Reproducible: Always

Simply changing "p1" to "p2" in the urls and renaming the ebuild to adobe-flash-10.2.161.23_pre20100927.ebuild seems to work for me (it installs fine, but Firefox only reports the version as 10.2 d161).

Yes, it is. You can do this by following the instructions at http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Writing_Ebuilds#Easiest:_Updating_an_existing_ebuild (just that section of the page). Essentially, you create an overlay directory, tell your make.conf about it, add www-plugins/adobe-flash/adobe-flash-10.2.161.23_pre20100927.ebuild to it, generate a manifest, and then re-emerge flash.

their download links seem to continually be changing.
Here is the source (as in problem, not as in free) in case anybody is looking.
As of now the links given, even in this bug report are dated.

I've removed the old release and added this one.

All better now :)
