Description Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-09-28 05:09:36 UTC
Please do asap. 0.9.5 is using libusb-1 instead of libusb-0 which is crashing...

alpha/ia64: You need to stabilize sys-power/upower asap because you have sys-apps/devicekit-power stabilized, we can't lastrite devicekit-power before that.
Also devicekit-power is no longer option for gnome-session-2.32.0, so this will be inevitable.

arg, sparc too :/
Comment 9 Alex Buell 2010-11-21 12:49:02 UTC
There are no dependences on upower on SPARC:

# equery d sys-power/upower
[ Searching for packages depending on sys-power/upower... ]
!!! Warning: No packages found matching sys-power/upower

However, on x86, the following dependencies can be found:

# equery d sys-power/upower
[ Searching for packages depending on sys-power/upower... ]
gnome-base/gnome-session-2.30.2 (sys-power/upower)
gnome-extra/gnome-power-manager-2.30.1 (sys-power/upower)

Sun Blades supports power saving features, it'd be nice to have those to reduce my electricity bills for those beasts!
