Few months ago development of w3m was resumed on sourceforge. Developers seem quite active, but they didn't make a release yet. I've converted latest w3m ebuild into w3m-9999 live cvs ebuild. All patches are removed from ebuild (and merged upstream afaik) except for fix for newer Boehm-gc version (they bundle their own old version).

I can create cvs snapshot & ebuild for it if desired. This is current HEAD snapshot which compiles and runs fine for me: http://wpr.cz/ccx/w3m-2010-08-24.tar.bz2 ec5ead6f94afedc3b34b86b20be18ffb w3m-20100824.tar.bz2 95e3b2c01d2f0e672b8d585afc8e23e5c6868667 w3m-20100824.tar.bz2
Created attachment 246519 [details] w3m-9999.ebuild added || die checks added ipv6 and gopher use-flags (simple --eneble configure switches)
