Description Travis Hansen 2010-09-03 03:07:41 UTC
I have a dell perc h200 raid card and dug all over the place trying to find a configuration tool. This is the first one I've found that actually works. Not sure of a more sane place to find the code/utility but wanted to get something started here.

Reproducible: Always

Sorry but I don't quite understand what is the problem here. Can you elaborate please?

Thanks

This is a tool similar to sys-block/megacli only for new Dell PERC cards.

Does it have any real HOMEPAGE? Is it maintained?

I actually have no idea. I wasn't able to find much. Just wanted to get something started here to see if anyone else knew of anything.

sas2ircu is indeed the standard tool for handling dell sata/raid stuff.

There is one ebuild lying around :
http://mirror.meleeweb.net/pub/linux/gentoo/portage/local/meleeweb/sys-block/sas2ircu/sas2ircu-4.00.00.00.ebuild
http://blog.yacoubi.fr/index.php?tag/location%20serveur%20d%C3%A9di%C3%A9%20infog%C3%A9r%C3%A9 (surrounding text in French)

I can't find an overlay with such an ebuild though.

The ebuild mentions this homepage :
HOMEPAGE="http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/docdisplay?brandind=5000008&lndocid=MIGR-5084955"

This doesn't look like a high-touch package and we've now got 9 hosts requiring this.

Currently other than the Manifest having changed ... and the download URL being wrong, is there any other known issues?

I am thinking of just doing a once-off "drive-by". If someone has a copy of the manual and confirm if that checksum too changed that would help ...

Given the age of this bug ...

Err.. I dont think I still manage servers with such a card. Can't test anymore.
