I have these packages installed: * installed packages [I--] [ ] app-text/poppler-data-0.2.1 (0) [I--] [M ] app-text/poppler-utils-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] dev-libs/poppler-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] dev-libs/poppler-glib-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [ ] dev-libs/poppler-qt3-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] dev-libs/poppler-qt4-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] virtual/poppler-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] virtual/poppler-glib-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [ ] virtual/poppler-qt3-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] virtual/poppler-qt4-0.10.7 (0) [I--] [M ] virtual/poppler-utils-0.10.7 (0) An update brought a change to app-text/poppler where I should stick the qt3 flag. The problem is that "emerge poppler -pv" results in the following: emerge poppler -pv These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-libs/poppler". ................................................................. Which is not correct. "emerge app-text/poppler" works ok, but this isn't trivial and it only works for me because I'm used to portage's details. I have not updated any package yet and would love to test an update portage against my installation. Reproducible: Always
