Description Raphael Mankin 2003-11-14 05:37:06 UTC
I am new to Gentoo, but have many years of experience with Linux/Unix. I have
downloaded the liveCD 1.4 fromt he web site and built most of the components
that I want. However openoffice 1.1 fails.

Here is the end of the ebuild output

Hmm. I have never seen this one before. Could you check on the available diskspace, openoffice needs lots of it (over 2 GB) to compile. Also sometimes just continuing the build works with
ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-1.1.0-r2.ebuild compile
ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-1.1.0-r2.ebuild install
ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-1.1.0-r2.ebuild package
# you might want to create a package, esp. on a p2 based celeron
ebuild /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-1.1.0-r2.ebuild qmerge
