Try without ccache.

Building without ccache worked.
Is ccache an obsolete feature? Or is it only util-linux-ng that has a problem with it?

ccache is known to break with hardware and/or file system problems, it's not a recommended feature and in fact only slows down one-time builds

see another bug for possible ways to debug your issue
