After upgrading to x11-plugins/enigmail-1.1.2
I get the following message in thunderbird (mail-client/thunderbird-3.1)
Could not start the gpg-agent program which is needed for your GnuPG version 2.0.15.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.upgrading to x11-plugins/enigmail-1.1.2
2.start thunderbird (mail-client/thunderbird-3.1)
Actual Results:
Could not start the gpg-agent program which is needed for your GnuPG version 2.0.15.

Same problem here. The message appears when loading a message, opening the enigmail preferences or enigmail's error console (almost every click in thunderbird). The enigmail console does not display anything.

Check so ensure you have gpg-agent running as a daemon.

I started the daemon manually (there was no need to do so before)
/usr/bin/gpg-agent --daemon
yet the result (problem remains). I get the same message.

With gpg-agent running, it works. Thanks! x11-plugins/enigmail-1.1.1 worked without this, though. Maybe add an einfo line or a change log entry?

Some environment variables need to be set so that enigmail can find the gpg-agent daemon. Just take a look at the gpg-agent manpage on how to start it. ;-)

Maybe the problem remains with x11-plugins/enigmail-1.1.2 and/or mail-client/thunderbird-3.1
