The XXE editor has been updated by XMLmind to 4.6, and the 4.5 ebuild can no longer find the 4.5 sources. (A search on Google doesn't find them either.) 4.6 sources can be downloaded from XMLmind; it's now called the Personal Edition. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try emerging XXE 2. 3. Actual Results: Failure. Expected Results: Success.
maintainer-needed, no sources available -> bump, or removal from portage
- missing a lot || die's in src_install (in fact there's none present atm) - postinst message is falsely telling user to run env-update - if the license is really "as-is", then it shouldn't be RESTRICT="mirror" so i'm assuming ebuild is also in tree illegally
- should be using QA_PRESTRIPPED instead RESTRICT="strip" - sets PATH from env.d to /opt, should likely use make_wrapper instead
Sooo...can we get XXE 4.6.0 in the tree instead of removing it completely? I use it specifically due to this http://code.google.com/p/xml2rfc-xxe/ plugin to edit IETF documents..
Removed from tree, you have to open a "New package" request for xxe (to gain a maintainer)
