Description Nick White 2010-06-08 21:37:38 UTC
Ledger 2.6.2 has been around for months now, works well for me on x86, and no bugs have been filed against it. Can we stabilise it please?
Comment 1 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-09 00:37:03 UTC
Sadly, it's unmaintained ... but please arch teams, don't tear us down!
Comment 2 Arttu Valo 2010-06-24 19:06:06 UTC
Just filed bug #325395 for ledger-2.6.2 on amd64. Sorry cannot debug and attach everything right now, gotta run.

 Do you have XEmacs installed?

 Due to automagic dependency detection it fails under the following conditions:
* USE=emacs disabled
* GNU Emacs (aka app-editors/emacs) is not installed
* XEmacs (aka app-editors/xemacs) installed

The build system then detects XEmacs although it should not and then fails because of missing eshell support in the bare XEmacs package, app-xemacs/eshell needs to be installed to if we ever add USE=xemacs support.

Fix committed.
