^^
Comment 1 Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2010-05-30 16:32:56 UTC
AMD64 test report:

compiles and installs cleanly with all use flag combinations.

All stable apps depending on it (debugedit rpm ltrace bug-buddy net-snmp prelink) compiles against it.
Comment 2 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-05-30 17:58:35 UTC
Stable for amd64. Thanks Thomas for testing
Comment 3 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-01 14:12:44 UTC
x86 stable
Comment 4 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-07-07 07:55:09 UTC
Ryan, elfutils-0.146 needs gcc-4.4 stable? Or the otherway around... seeing bug 326539 is on depends list here...
Comment 5 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-07-07 16:55:43 UTC
No, only for HP/PA.

ppc stable
Comment 8 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2010-07-22 14:38:00 UTC
arm stable
Comment 9 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-07-25 14:06:24 UTC
Fails tests on alpha:

FAIL: run-elflint-self.sh
Build log is here:

http://dev.gentoo.org/~klausman/elfutils-0.146-alpha-build.log

Also fails on 0.145 and 0.148. Current stable (0.131-r2) fails, too, but differently:

http://dev.gentoo.org/~klausman/elfutils-0.131-r2-alpha-build.log

What do you want us to do? I'd say go for stabilizing, but then I'm not 100% sure how much damage a slightly broken elfutils package can cause on a system.
