Description Patrik Kullman 2002-05-29 16:13:36 UTC
grub (0.90-r7)
xfree (4.2.0-r9, -r10)
ORBit (0.5.16)
autoconf (2.53a)
perl (5.6.1-r4, although packages.mask says it works with gcc 3.1)
Comment 1 alexander j pierce 2002-05-31 17:21:36 UTC
all work fine for me.  1.1a ISO, stage 1, make.profile -> default-1.0-gcc3,
unmasked xfree-4.2.0-r11 and perl-5.6.1-r4. didn't even need to edit the
ebuild files to tweak CPPFLAGS or use sed, which is pretty common.

PIII 450/ 128MB/ XFS filesystem if that matters.
Comment 2 Patrik Kullman 2002-06-01 05:21:51 UTC
Well, I hear it's easier to bootstrap with gcc 3.1.
Although my system should be pretty migrated now..
Comment 3 Francisco Gimeno 2002-06-12 04:46:43 UTC
But I get finally perl compile well. Bug #3423
Comment 4 Patrik Kullman 2002-06-17 04:16:25 UTC

grub, xfree, ORBit and autoconf worked.

[ebuild U ] sys-devel/perl-5.6.1-r4 to /

doesn't.

tell me if you want error logs on them.
Comment 5 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-17 04:32:23 UTC
yes, please throw us some error logs on them
Comment 6 Patrik Kullman 2002-06-17 05:01:59 UTC
Ok, I've put all logs on http://www.inom.sector7.nu/ebuild_errors
Comment 7 Brandon Low (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-07-09 00:50:25 UTC
These were mostly sandboxing problems, and some just needed patching, regardless
they all work now, closing.
