Stabilize media-sound/rhythmbox-0.12.6-r1.
Why not go for 0.12.8 directly?
(In reply to comment #1) > Why not go for 0.12.8 directly? >=media-sound/rhythmbox-0.12.8 cannot be stabilized on majority of architectures due to bug #308763. Currently please continue stabilization of media-sound/rhythmbox-0.12.6-r1.

amd64 stable (tested by rullzer).
ppc stable
The mtp and ipod useflag require hal or udev. The ebuild only gives an einfo and then fails while it should choose a sane default. (http://devmanual.gentoo.org/general-concepts/use-flags/index.html) * MTP support requires hal or udev support. Please * re-emerge with USE=udev to enable MTP support
Please open a new bug with attached build.log and emerge --info.
stable x86, thanks Thomas, this won't hold up stabilisation though
