This appears to be a linking dependency issue, possibly influenced by aggressive use of --as-needed. btlist failed to link because of an unresolved dependency on the symbol SHA1. Based on the warnings about prototype mismatch with OpenSSL, it is likely that the symbol SHA1 is meant to be the one provided by libcrypto.so. Unfortunately, btlist does not include -lcrypto in its link line. It probably relies on one of the libraries it does use to pull in libcrypto.so as a side effect, and broke here because --as-needed prevented that side effect. Fix: add -lcrypto to the link line for btlist.
Fixed
(In reply to comment #3) > Fixed I see that you added an eautoreconf to this package, but your sed only modifies Makefile.in. A prior change, to address bug #248034, added a sed of Makefile.in and did not need an eautoreconf. Could you explain why it was added now, but worked correctly without an eautoreconf in v1.3?
