looks like previous versions worked without hal, so this version in tree is pretty major regression...

Hi,

batterymon could be replaced by batti (which is based on upower). I created a request to get it into portage: bug #314797

added batti to portage. :)

idl0r, please check out batti, and if you want to take over it, just replace yourself in metadata.xml. that is, if you think it can replace batterymon.

batterymon-0.6.0 has been added and =app-laptop/batterymon-1.2.0 has been masked for removal.
I'll close the bug as soon as it has been removed from tree.
