As several people have had the 2.6.0test kernels working on sparc and sparc64, it's probably safe to keyword development-sources as ~sparc. I'd suggest sys-kernel/development-sources 2.6.0_beta7 and sys-apps/module-init-tools 0.9.15_pre1 . This will bring us more or less in line with the other archs.
Oops forgot. We cant add sparc keywords until we got a offical gcc64 as its not possible to compile the 2.6 series with egcs :/
I tried gentoo-sources and vanila-sources and got the same (no 2.6 kernel) results: solaris150 home # emerge -puv gentoo-sources These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! Total size of downloads: 0 kB solaris150 home # emerge -puv vanila-sources These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "vanila-sources".
