Description Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-01 09:12:00 UTC
I did run the ypthon-updater and recognized that it checks packages like sys-kernel/gentoo-sources, which will definitely not needed to be reinstalled on an python update. Wouldn't it be better to just consider packages which directly/indirectly depend on python? This would speed up python-updater extremely.

I don't want to implement dependency parser in bash.
