I've tried my hand at making this ebuild, but I'm failing miserably. someone else wanna do this?

1.99.3 is old, alpha, buggy and has not the final api (1.99.4 will have a different one) - has no gui and many people have problems to use it when auto-configuration fails. Do you really think that it is a good idea to make now an ebuild of that one?

I was unaware of these problems, I just noticed that 1.5 is the latest one in portage, and the subversion ebuild seems to build version 1.5-development version (via the About dialog).

I don't consider the current 1.99.3 add-worthy. Probably no pre-2.0 will be. I'm closing this bug. A new one can be created when 2.0 is ready (or a releasable 1.99)
