Hi, since a few version, misdn is included in the vanilla kernel sources. AFAIK, this is misdn v2. Current gentoo ebuilds are misdn v1 only. I would like to see misdn v2 support on gentoo. Reproducible: Always
Can you explain in more details which versions of the vanilla kernel sources lack this MISDN version 2? (I would think that all vanilla source packages we distribute contain every feature that kernel.org releases.)
(In reply to comment #1) > Can you explain in more details which versions of the vanilla kernel sources > lack this MISDN version 2? (I would think that all vanilla source packages we > distribute contain every feature that kernel.org releases.) Sorry, my fault. But the userspace libraryies are still misdn v1. I would like msdn v2 versions of net-dialup/misdn and net-dialup/misdnuser so that one can use the in-kernel drivers.
Are you sure, that misdn 1.1.9.2 is misdn v2? According to this (possibly outdated) article, one has to use snapshots: http://www.misdn.org/index.php/MISDN_v2_Installation
