I have a problem with sort. When I set my system to the locale en_US.utf8, sort works correctly. But if I set it to de_DE.utf8, sort fails with this error every time: sort: sort.c:1306: inittables_mb: Zusicherung `mblength != (size_t)-1 && mblength != (size_t)-2' nicht erfüllt. It happened immediately after upgrading to coreutils-8.4. While on the subject of localization issues in coreutils: ls has been problematic for a long time now when using de_DE.utf8. Every invocation of ls produces this message: ls: Fehler beim Initialisieren der Monats-Zeichenketten And Mär never prints correctly; it always renders as M r. The problem still exists in 8.4.

its already stable masked :( 8.4 stable on most arch 8.5 still unstable i have runtime blocks on this so cant get portage to update for me here wish portage could have a debian mode, if just one arch is unstable the whole package cant be updated, better safe then sorry imho
